How to Unlock Anime Crusaders Akuzo VS Renkuro
To unlock Akuzo VS Renkuro, you need to first pull Akuzo from the Summons Banner. He has a 0.5% pull rate, so you may need to rely on Mythic Pity to unlock him.
When you pull him, you’ll also gain the Flame Sword item. By previewing this, you’ll see a unique questline which you must complete to prestige this item to create its final version, which you’ll later need for the evolution.
Evolution Requirements
Let’s cover the basics first.
- 10,000 Takedown.
- This one is easy to passively complete. Simply place down the Akazo unit and let him destroy opponents in Infinite mode.
- x20 Fear Stones
- x20 Earth Stones
- x20 Fire Stones
- x20 Water Stones
- x50 Air Stones
- x5 Divine Stones
All Stones are craftable and appear frequently in all evolutions, so you should hopefully be used to obtaining them.
Nightmare Train Obtainable Items
With the easier stuff out of the way, let’s talk about how you unlock the more vague items.
- x5 Yellow Demon Crystals
- Obtainable from Stage 1 of Nightmare Train Legend Stage.
- x5 Red Demon Crystals
- Obtainable from Stage 2 of Nightmare Train Legend Stage.
- x5 Purple Demon Crystals
- Obtainable from Stage 3 of Nightmare Train Legend Stage.
- x1 Blazing Heart
- Also obtainable from Stage 3 of Nightmare Train Legend Stage with a 2% drop chance.
Eternal Vows
To get Eternal Vows, of which you need 75 to evolve Akazo, you need to earn Portals from Demon District Infinite. This gamemode has a chance to drop Demon District Portals, which have the chance to drop the Eternal Vows when played.
Crystal of Sacrifice
To obtain x3 Crystals of Sacrifice, you must speak with the Rengoku NPC who stands to one side in the Evolution Chamber and sacrifice three evolved units.
Each unit sacrificed gives you x1 Crystal of Sacrifice. You’re allowed to sacrifice the same unit, so I recommend opting for a cheap and easy option to cut out the monotonous grind.
Flame Sword Questline
To get the Flame Sword (Final), you need to complete the quests listed within your Flame Sword item that you obtained when you pulled Akazo from the summons. The questline requires you to:
- Defeat any Nightmare Train Legend Stage (50 times)
- Evolve 3 Demon District Units.
