Rogue Piece Golden Hook Relic Obtainment
Much like all other Relics, the Golden Hook is a rare drop from Chests.
One of the easiest ways to get Chests happens to be fishing (and Bosses, obviously), but I’m going to talk you through a method that makes the Golden Hook seem pretty worthwhile.
Golden Hook Buffs
“A blessed hook that hastens the tides, reeling fate to your grasp.”
When applied, the Golden Hook reduces Fishing Time by 5 Seconds.
Fishing takes 23 seconds per to reel up rewards. With Golden Hook, this reduces to 18 seconds. It’s not a huge difference, but it adds up long-term.
So, you might be wondering, why is this Relic worthwhile if it’s only applying a smaller cooldown on fishing? Well, fishing is one of the best ways to get Chests, which, as I mentioned earlier, is the primary way to obtain all Relics.
See where I’m going with this? The more you fish and collect, the higher your chance of obtaining Chests, and therefore more Relics. Plus, you can fish offline, so long as you start fishing before logging off, which means you don’t even need to stay active in-game to grind for Relics.
