How To Rank Up in Devil Hunter
During the Tutorial, you’ll learn about the Chainsaw feature, which has up to 5 Stars. As you earn EXP, these Stars increase until you have all 5, which then increases your Rank.
Occasionally, you need both EXP and a quest to advance to the next rank. The objectives may include:
- An amount of Player Kills
- An amount of Devil Kills
- Several World Event Wins
If you’re not ranking up and your Stars are at capacity, hover over the Chainsaw to browse the objectives. These objectives sometimes show up before you have all 5 Stars, but they aren’t tasks to earn a Star; they’re end tasks to Rank Up after obtaining all 5 Stars.
Earning EXP
To earn EXP, you need to complete quests from the main Storyline and City NPCs, as well as defeat Devils (via Contract Doors), defeat Players in PvP and PvE, and compete in World Events, which trigger every 2 hours.
Why You Need To Rank Up
Ranking Up gives you access to more game content, such as specific Contracts and questlines. It’s one of the foundations that structures your entire story.
Ranks also earn you more Stat points to invest into your build and enhance your strength. In short, it’s one of the most important features in the game.
