A player with a plant in their mouth points up and smiles as a chat bubble appears above their head for Heartopia Tips and Tricks.

Keep these Heartopia Tips and Tricks in mind whilst you’re playing to streamline your experience.

One tip I can recommend for Heartopia is keeping up to date with the latest freebies. You can do so by regularly checking for available Heartopia Codes!

Heartopia Tips and Tricks

Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been playing the game since launch (or even Beta tests), these tips and tricks are useful for all players!

Daily Tasks

If you don’t have much time to play on certain days, the daily tasks in Heartopia are quick and easy to complete. Most of which ask you to hand in resources, which you may already have in your inventory.

Thanks to the handy tracking system in the game, you can speedily make your way to required locations and NPCs. Ensuring you do your daily tasks is key to upgrading your D.G. Membership level, which unlocks even more content for you.

Cooking Food For Gold

Not only does food replenish your stamina in Heartopia, but you can also sell dishes for Gold! Of course, this does mean you need to have the required ingredients in the first place to cook these dishes, but the payoff is worth it when you earn much more Gold.

If you stock up on ingredients to make easy dishes such as mushrooms, berries, and tomatoes, etc., you can quickly make a batch of them to sell to Albert Jr. To add to this, always make sure to have crops growing in your garden, as you can use these in your dishes, too.

Take Part in Events/Parties

If you’ve unlocked the Parties feature, you’re probably inundated with calls from NPCs and other players. While some quests require you to take part in them, you can also get some pretty good rewards when completing the Personal Goals and Team Goals.

Most of the time, I tend to get fireworks and other random one-time-use items. However, I’ve also gotten Bait for the Fishing Hobby! Who knows what other rewards you can get?

Check Shops Daily

You probably already know this, but the stock in the Furniture Shop and Clothing Shop resets every day! This is a great way to expand your wardrobe and unlock new furniture for your house.

Most of my clothes are from the Clothing Shop, as there’s a wide array of styles and accessories that you can purchase with Gold and Wishing Stars. Plus, adding to your Collections means you’re working towards even more rewards.

Missing Chat Messages

As the chat feature relies on being close by to a player on your friends list, it can be easy to miss a message here and there. Whether you’re looking away from your screen or you’re browsing the in-game menus, the chat bubbles disappear pretty quickly before you even realise.

If the player you’re talking to sends another message, you can click on the new chat bubble to revisit the chat history, so you can read all previous messages.

If there are no new chat bubbles, open the chat box so that a bubble with 3 dots appears above your character’s head. Click that bubble to open up the chat history!
