As part of the arrangement, Netflix will exclusively stream a lineup of original anime produced by MAPPA to its members worldwide. Netflix has previously distributed MAPPA productions including Ranma1/2 and Kakegurui Twin to the Western audience.

Under the new agreement, the upcoming anime titles of MAPPA will debut exclusively and simultaneously around the world on Netflix. Meanwhile, Netflix is also aiming for more original anime from Japan to a global audience.
