Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: What does each tier mean?
    • S: These are the strongest characters you can wield from their respective combat niche. Ideally, you’ll want to use these units when heading into the late-game, aiming for variety between fighting styles. Those here synergise well with almost every other character, creating an ironclad team.
    • A: Secondary to the best, these are great alternatives for your team if you are struggling to obtain them, or don’t prefer them. Those here have some minor gaps in their skillset, but are overall solid units to use.
    • B: Settling into the average tier, these middle-ground units bridge the gap between the early and late-game, with decent complementary skills that offer some enhancements to your build. That said, they begin to struggle in the late game and will ideally be swapped out then.
    • C: Better than the bottom tier, but these characters are still only usable in the early game. They’re good for learning combat, but not dependable long-term.
    • D: Those here aren’t bad, but they’re not the preferred units for the job. They don’t synergise well with others, and they quickly become outpaced in the mid-game.
  • Q: Does the meta matter?
    • A: Not necessarily, but it’s good knowledge to have. Games are supposed to be fun, so if you have a character bias and they don’t appear in the upper tiers, then by all means, feel free to mix and match.
  • Q: How should I organise my team?
    • A: Ideally, you want to make sure you include as much combat diversity in your team to cover all grounds. If you focus all of your party on DPS, whilst strong, they’ll be quite easy to overwhelm after the early-game. Variety helps survivability!
