Let’s keep this simple. You want to know how to reroll efficiently, and I have the answers to that. So, stick with me as I tell you how to maximise rerolls in Star Sailors, and who to prioritise when going into the gacha.

Star Sailors Reroll Guide
During the initial tutorial, you’re guaranteed Caroline within your first 10 summons. This never changes, so as it’s a constant, you shouldn’t be too concerned with the characters obtained during this complimentary gacha pull.
You may, however, get an additional SSR character during the summon.
How To Reroll
This method doesn’t require salt emails. You can use your main email to reroll or a guest account, which you later link with your primary email.
- After the free 10 summons, open your mail and collect the 20x Limited Summons and 20x Regular Summons. Then, progress to Chapter 2-1.
- To earn 30x Limited Summons and 20x Regular Summons, you need to reach level 5, which grants an Event Bonus of additional summons.
- I recommend entering Story Mode to level up quickly, pressing skip to earn all of the additional currencies and materials.
- Open the Event Tab to claim additional Summons.
- Find and watch the Expedition News Video to earn additional Summons. (Leave it in a separate tab if on PC, so you can return to the game and save some time)
- Collect Crystals from the Achievements tab for additional Summons, as well as the free Crystals from the Premium Shop.
- After this, perform your rolls on your chosen banner. (Links to who to prioritise)
- Collect your mileage currencies from performing Summons and exchange them for an additional 10x Limited Summons.
- If you don’t get a desirable character, you can delete your game data tied to your guest account or email, and then restart the game. This will not brick your account if you began with an email.
- Repeat the process as necessary until you get a character you want.
Who To Prioritise
Caroline is most players’ first SSR as she appears as a free unit on a new player’s tenth summon. However, I don’t recommend her for your long-term team loadout as she isn’t all that efficient and becomes quickly overwhelmed in the later combat trials.
Instead, try pulling for Nina on the Cold-Blooded, Beautiful Traitor Banner.
Nina is an SSR Earth, Attacker, Daylight unit with the following skills:
- Basic Attack: (Attack)
- Attack an enemy one time to deal 55% of final ATK as damage.
- Hook Shot: (Attack)
- Attack a single enemy three times, dealing 110% of final ATK as damage, whilst also granting Zugzwang.
- If the single enemy is in the Zugzwang state, damage increases by 160% of the final ATK.
- Grey Zone: (Buffer)
- Increases Crit Rate by 16.5% for 4 turns whilst also granting Foresight for 3 turns.
- Checkmate: (Attack)
- Attack a single enemy once, dealing 330% of final ATK as damage.
- If the single enemy is in the Zugzwang state, damage increases by 430% of the final ATK.
- Trait:
- When an ally lands a Crit, Nina grants Foresight for 3 turns. If Foresight is fully stacked, she instead gains 10% Increased Crit Rate for 1 turn.
- Passive:
- +5% Increased Crit Rate when entering a battle.
Overall, Nina is a powerhouse unit with powerful and versatile skills that self-buff and dominate during combat.

- A: Depending on your speed, each reroll will take between 15 and 20 minutes.
- Q: How many summons does this reroll method get in total?
- A: 40x Limited Summons and a little over 50x Regular Summons.
- Q: What happens if I pull for a dupe of a character?
- A: The current highest ranking for characters in Star Sailors is 3* SSR. Getting additional pulls of characters adds to their star grading (max of 5*). This increases their stats, but doesn’t unlock any new skills from what I can tell.
