    • S: These are the strongest and most formidable gals in the game. If you want an ironclad team of power and pretty, then these should be your top priority picks.
    • A: Secondary to the best, you’ll likely end up with a mixed goodie bag of these on your journey to creating the perfect team. Those in this tier are strong and reliable, but don’t always synergise as well with fellow units, making them lose a tier.
    • B: Nestled into the middle tier, these average units bridge the gap between the early and late-game, offering decent skills, but nothing beyond niche and situational.
    • C: Weak, yet fortunately not the worst. These girls aren’t that powerful standalone, but come in handy when in a solid team layout, especially in the early game.
    • D: The weakest in the game. Overall, I don’t recommend partnering or investing in these units. Even in the early-game, you’re not missing much.
  • Q: Why are some of the characters here not available in the game right now?
    • A: This tier was constructed and inspired by the rankings from the JP servers, which have had access to the game for longer. Changes to the rankings will be reflected in this article as and when they’re added.
  • Q: How much does the meta matter?
    • A: Despite this post, shockingly, not all that much. It is important to have some strong characters on your team, but ABYSSDIA is only fun if you can choose how to play and who to invest in. If you have a bias towards a lower-tier unit, then by all means feel free to use them.
