A new PV is here for the upcoming anime film Assassination Classroom The Movie: Our Time. Just days before its theatrical debut, the new trailer gives us a close look at the film’s musical additions. The film is opening in Japan this Friday, that’s March 20th, 2026.
It’s called a Just Before Release trailer!
The preview includes a newly recorded insert song titled Machinegun to Rashinban, also known as Machinegun and Compass. The track is performed by the unit 3-nen E-gumi Utatan, a group formed by five central characters from the series.
The performers are Nagisa Shiota, Karma Akabane, Kaede Kayano, Yuma Isogai, and Hiroto Maehara. The characters are voiced by Mai Fuchigami, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Aya Suzaki, Ryota Osaka, and Shintaro Asanuma respectively.
These same characters previously handled opening theme songs for the television anime’s Season 1 and Season 2. Their new song was created specifically for the movie.
Meanwhile, the video condenses the events that unfolded during the school year spent with Koro-sensei and Class 3-E. It revisits moments that defined the students’ time with their unusual teacher. The lyrics of Machinegun and Compass reflect the growth and determination of the students as they attempt to show their teacher what they’ve learned in the classroom.

Machinegun to Rashinban won’t only appear in the film but will also be included in an upcoming music release. The song, together with the theme song Teacher performed by singer-songwriter Sora Tomonari, will be part of the Anime Assassination Classroom 10th anniversary Music Collection album. That album will launch on March 18th.
