It’s no shock that a new race added has better, more defined stats than the last, which is why I want to convince you to invest your rerolls into getting the new Sailor Piece Luckborn Race before Sea 2 releases.
This formidable lineage does something that only the adored Kitsune race before it has offered, being universal to both Melee and Sword users… (spoilers!)
Teasers aside, let’s delve into this 100% AI-Free article. (Thank you for supporting my work!)
Sailor Piece Luckborn Race
Obtained via Race Rerolls, the mythical rarity Luckborn Race applies the following stats:
- +15% Sword DMG Multi
- +35% Luck Multi
- +90% Max HP
- +15% Melee DMG Multi
- +80% DMG
It’s the second of its kind (with Kitsune before it) to cater to both Sword and Melee users, whilst also offering a Luck boost, a massive one at that.
In comparison, the Kitsune Race offers weaker stats, though not ones to turn your nose up at if you’re low on rerolls. This includes:
+60% HP, +25% Luck, +50% DMG, +10% Sword DMG Multi, and +10% Melee DMG Multi.
Back on the topic of Luckborn, this gives this race fluidity, allowing the user to swap between their combats depending on preference, or what works best situationally.
If you’re not too fussed about the Luck boost and solely want to refine your DMG build, then I instead recommend opting for Warlord (+22% Melee) or Swordblessed (+20% Sword).
Why Is It The Best for Sea 2?
From snippets and teasers, we know Sea 2 is going to be formidable and rough. It’ll pose all new threats, including world bosses, giant sea serpent monsters, and other deadly foes and bosses in a more classic Sailor Piece fashion.
Entering unprepared, you’ll definitely feel the gap in your build, and without refining your strengths, you’ll fall behind and need to spend more time grinding in the first sea, whilst everyone else is off enjoying the new content. Talk about a bummer.
So, I highly recommend, alongside the Luckborn Race, refining your build as best as possible with the finite time left between now and the update.
This includes organising your primary Weapon/Melee, Clan, Trait, Ascensions, Accessories, Stats, Artefacts, Runes, and so… so much more.
