How To Get Tokens
Tokens are given to those who played Type Soul prior to the removal of the different kits, with exchange amounts depending on what kit they had and its Token equivalent value.
This means the amount of Tokens you receive depends solely on what you had before the update. There are NO additional ways to make Compensation Tokens, so once you’ve got your balance, thats it. You can’t get more.
I highly recommend thinking through your purchase before buying due to how limited Compensation Tokens are.

- There isn’t an answer for this yet, at least not a confirmed one. But it seems that it’ll stick around for a while, so returning players don’t miss out on exchanging their now useless but rare items for Compensation Tokens and new stock. In short, you probably don’t need to rush.
- What is the Compensation Shop for?
- If you’re a newer player, you may not know what this store’s purpose is. Well, a recent update of Type Soul removed a TON of old content, making the long-drawn grind of returning players futile, given that a lot of their kit is now unusable. As an apology and to commemorate what’s to come, the DEVs implemented the Compensation Store so that players can trade their unusable kits for Tokens and new wares.
- What else was removed during the huge overhaul?
- Ancient Vastocar: 5x Soul Blessings + all involved Ingredients returned.
- Those Who Know Emblem: Green Another Day, Vampire Setro, and Creed Emblem returned.
- Vows and Spooky Sins: Per Vow or Sin: Locked Weapon, Element, and Clan Rerolls returned. Vow of Silence: 1x Hogyoku Ball returned. Vow of Sacrifice: 1x Hogyoku Ball returned.
