Before the introduction of Sea 2, Bounty didn’t have much significance outside of showing a list of players from the most formidable to the fledglings. By the end of this Sailor Piece Bounty Guide, you’ll come to realise how important your Bounty is, how to increase it, and what it pertains to.
Spoiler alert, I mentioned it in the title…
Anyway, let’s get on with what you’re here for.
Sailor Piece Bounty Guide
To check your Bounty, press Tab on your keyboard and look at the number next to your name in the window on the right.
This number fluctuates depending on how you play Sailor Piece. To increase your bounty, you need to defeat Bosses and other players in PvP. Likewise, dying to other players during PvP will siphon some of your Bounty.
Hint: PvP gives you the most bounty per kill, but ultimately depends on the Bounty of the player you kill.
So, if you’re not quite ready for PvP, I recommend farming bosses via Boss Island, as you can set them to auto-spawn and streamline the process.
But why are Bounties suddenly so important, and what do you need yours for?
Sea Beasts
Sea Beasts appear out in Sea 2, periodically spawning in the open waters weaved between Islands.
Ultimately, their spawn is random, but it is influenced by two factors:
- Players in a server
- More players increase the Sea Beast spawn chance, likely due to these World Bosses being a combined effort to defeat. The spawn chance seems tied to players currently in Sea 2, as opposed to both Seas.
- Bounty Amount
- Seems familiar? If you and your servermates have a high bounty, Sea Beasts are more likely to spawn to try and defend their territory from the invasion of land-lovers.
As a note, it seems Sea Beasts have a better spawn chance with a colony of players with a Bounty of 10 Million+. On average, it seems they’ll respawn every 15-20 minutes. This isn’t a confirmed statistic, so take it with a grain of salt.
Sea Beasts Drops
There are two Sea Beast variants: Sea Serpent and Kraken, both of which have the same loot pool, containing:
- Castorice (Dragon Goddess Sword)
- Blossom Outfit (Accessory)
- Kraken Armour (Accessory)
- Bloodline Stone
- 100% drop chance
- Clan Reroll
- 100% drop chance
Note: Drop chances change depending on individual player builds and the strength of the Sea Beast spawned. Average drop chances aren’t currently known.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I spawn Sea Beasts efficiently?
- If you have a bounty of 10M+, the best way to farm Sea Beasts is by entering Sea 2 and waiting out in any large body of water. After you defeat a Sea Beast, hit Esc and respawn and then travel back to your farming zone to trick them into respawning in quicker intervals.
