I have Zoro bias, so I wanted to commemorate the re-release of Haze Seas by curating a player-made Haze Seas Swords Tier List. I’ve studied the blades, and I’m here to tell you which to prioritise and the natural progression of swordsmanship, including their obtainments and resident Seas.

So whether you’re a fruit user who wants to dual-wield or prefer to die by the sword, I’ve got you covered!

Let’s get into the rankings.

What Each Tier Means

  • S: The STRONGEST Blades from each Seas! Whether you’re early or late-game, these blades fit nicely into your build and help you progress into the seas beyond. Those here have the best combat versatility, overwhelming foes with PvP and PvE-trained attacks.
  • A: Solid alternatives to the top tier if you’re not familiar with the top blades and want some variety in your build.
  • B: These middle-tier Swords are average, with some nifty mastery skills under their belt. Good utility, but not worth investing too much into.
  • C: These are good upgrades from the Katana, but not worth keeping around for long. They’re fairly lacklustre overall and forgettable once you have acquired a higher-tier blade.
  • D: This tier exists solely for the Katana. Whilst new players don’t spawn with one, it’s the most primative Blade and therefore becomes the bottom expectation of all blades that come after it.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do the Tiers work?
    • I’ve ranked each Sword per Sea. Meaning some Tiers will consist of Swords from Seas 1-3. This doesn’t mean that the Sea 1 blade is better than the Sea 3 Blade; more than that, it means the Sea 1 Blade is GOOD for where it exists in the world, and the Sea 3 Blade may not be as glamorous as its other Sea 3 kin.
  • What are the Sword-related Titles?
    • Bearer of Eternal Night: obtain Dual Dark Blade
    • Trinity Ascendant: Obtain 3SS
    • Triple Blade Demon: Obtain 3SS V2
    • The Skullcrusher: Obtain Mace V2
    • Ocean’s Wraith: Obtain SB Hammer V2
    • The Groundsplitter: Obtain Bisento V2
    • Swords of Balance: Obtain 2SS V2
    • Vanquisher’s Edge: Obtain Gryphon
    • Swift Windcutter: Obtain Zenith
