Before launch, BanG Dream! Our Notes is rolling out a global closed beta test. And now, Bilibili Games has opened applications for the CBT. It will be available on both iOS and Android, although not everyone who applies will get in since it’s a limited-slot beta.

Applications for the global CBT are open until July 20th, 2026, at 23:59 (UTC+9). The beta will support English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Anyone interested will need to complete the official CBT questionnaire.
After submitting the application, selected applicants will receive access through the game’s application process. It’s also a data-wiping CBT, so any progress made during the test won’t carry over once the full game launches.
BanG Dream! Our Notes is the newest entry in the BanG Dream! project. The spotlight is on five girl bands while the game combines rhythm gameplay with story-driven character moments. The game begins by following MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica from a fresh perspective before expanding to include all five featured bands.
Returning groups MyGO!!!!!, Ave Mujica, and Mugendai MewType are joined by two brand-new bands, millsage and Ikka Dumb Rock!. There are a total of 25 characters, each with their own musical journey.
Taking part in the closed beta test of BanG Dream! Our Notes won’t get you access to the entire story. You’ll be able to unlock the first three chapters of both MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica’s band stories through the game’s Cinematic Storytelling System. These chapters focus on character relationships, emotional moments, and interactions that happen away from the stage instead of only during performances.
The beta announcement also comes alongside the game’s ongoing global pre-registration campaign. At the same time, BanG Dream! Our Notes has released MyGO!!!!!’s Shoumeisanka music video. They’ve also kicked off a commemorative event called Message in a Bottle that runs until July 31st, 2026.
