What Is Blox Fruits Purple Lighting
Purple Lightning is a cosmetic skin for players wielding the Lightning fruit. Instead of the standard blue electricity surge, players can shock (no pun intended) their opponents with vibrant purple lightning instead.
Since it’s a cosmetic, this means that the Purple Lightning doesn’t add any additional stats and is purely visual. If you want to enhance your strength, you’ll need to search elsewhere.
Purple isn’t the only available lightning variant; alongside itself and the original blue, the gacha includes green and yellow. In my opinion, the purple looks the snazziest.
How To Get Purple Lightning
To get it for yourself, you need to get your hands on the Purple Lightning Fruit. Confusing as this seems, the Purple Lightning is technically a Lightning fruit cosmetic as it has the same moves, damage, cooldowns, etc. However, it’s listed as an entirely different fruit.
The Purple Lightning fruit appears as a drop in the Summer Gachapon, a limited event that began alongside the Lightning Update.
To roll the gacha, you’ll need Summer Tokens, obtained via Lightning Events, which happen hourly across all servers. During a Lightning Event, storms brew across islands, which summon lightning-embued enemies for you to take care of. Defeat them, and they’ll drop Summer Tokens.
Each spin costs 500 Tokens, and you find the gacha by visiting the Fruit Gacha NPC, who resides in the Jungle area of the First Sea. In the Second sea, he migrates to the Cafe, and in the Third and final sea, he nestles down in the Mansion.
