How To Get Dust in Sailor Piece: Upgrade Your Artifacts!

0

Dust off your combat skills with Artifacts! You’ll see what I mean further in this article, but for now, let me introduce you to this guide, which tells you how to get Dust in Sailor Piece.

Find out where to get this obscure currency item, how it’s used, and how all of this makes you stronger and refines your build.

Just as a side note, don’t consume any real-life dust as that won’t give you buffs, probably… (lol)

Anyway, yapping aside, let’s get into it.

How To Get Dust in Sailor Piece

Dust is a byproduct you obtain when deleting Artifacts.

To view your collection and clear some out, head to Snow Island and speak with the Artifacts NPC. If you haven’t yet unlocked this feature, she will first require you to reach level 2,500 and give her 500k Cash and 500 Gems.

After this, speak to her to view your collection, equipping and deleting Artifacts as you see fit. The delete button is in the bottom right corner after selecting an Artifact. When pressing delete, you’ll get the following prompt:

Deleting Artifacts is a permanent action which you cannot undo, so I recommend clearing out ones you’re certain you have no value in and wouldn’t use.

Why You Need Dust

Dust allows you to upgrade Artifacts, enhancing their buffs, making them stronger and therefore more valuable.

It’s a lesser-known feature which players often sideline for Accessories, since Artifacts work similarly to them, but they’re still worth investing in, especially since it’s quite easy to get Artifacts.

How To Get Artifacts

Artifacts drop from any NPCs in the game, including mobs, mini-bosses, and bosses.

This means the best farming method is to use the Quake Fruit C-Move at Shinjuku Island, clearing out 10 mobs per attack. (You’ll need to reset stats and invest all into Power to insta-kill all the mobs)

This is also a solid method for farming other materials, so I recommend keeping this method on the back burner for when you need quick kills for questlines.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: Are Artifacts the same as accessories?
    • A: They’re similar, but not the same. You can apply Head, Hand, Body, and Legs Artifacts, increasing several factors about your build without a cosmetic. Accessories typically apply a multiplier enhancement, instead of a flat rate increase like Artifacts.
  • Q: Can you see Artifacts?
    • A: Nope, they’re a quiet enhancer with no corresponding cosmetic.
  • Q: What does the Artifact Milestone NPC do?
    • A: This NPC indexes your Artifact progression, giving you free Race Rerolls, Trait Rerolls, and Haki Colour Rerolls for reaching new Artifact levels.
  • Q: What do the Artifact types upgrade?
    • Head: Increases DEF or Flat DEF
    • Hand: Increases DMG only, including Crit Chance and Crit DMG
    • Body: Upgrades any Stat, including Lifesteal and HP Regen (and other mentioned Stats)
    • Legs: Increases DMG, Defence, Flat DEF, or DMG Reduction
