Let’s get into it.

How to Get The Zenin Heirloom in Jujutsu Zero

The Zenin Heirloom are rewards for completing the Zen’in Elite Questlines. Optional for most players, those who do take on this challenge are in it to learn the Absolute Beatdown skill for Projection Sorcery.

Location

To pick up this quest, head to the bottom right of the map, on the 400-500 level zone. You’ll find the NPC (Naoya Zen’in) on top of the mountain at the coordinates 3007, 376, 1088.

To begin his challenge, you must also reach level 500+; he will lock you out of the questline otherwise.

Relic Quest I

Locate the first Relic, which spawns behind the waterfall where the Stat Tree Enhancer NPC resides (TP3 is closest). You’ll see several holes on the right side at the end of the cave. Choose the smallest and fall down to find the Relic at coordinates -392, -324, -2055.

Reward: 1x Zen’in Heirloom

Relic Quest II

Find the second Relic, which spawns on top of a tall mountain (with a location marker, closest to TP5). When near it, there is an invisible floor below which you can jump onto to regain stamina at coordinates 1969, 1525, 2001.

Reward: 1x Zen’in Heirloom

Capture Quest I

For the final quest, you need to retrieve and give Naoya two items: a Domain Fragment and an Inversion. The former drops from most chests in the game, and if you’re doing this quest, I think it’s safe for me to assume you know how to get them.

Inversions, however, are a little more particular. You’ll need to battle the Toji Miniboss, who spawns inside the Tomb of the Stars every 30 minutes. Upon defeat, he has a 10% chance of dropping the Inversion.

I recommend server hopping into low-population servers to complete this quest, so you’re not idly waiting around for ages, or competing for drops with other players.

Reward: 1x Zen’in Heirloom

Absolute Beatdown

After gathering all three Zen’in Heirlooms from the Zen’in Elite questline, you can unlock the Absolute Beatdown final skill from the Projection Sorcery lineage skill tree.

This PvP move disrupts the fight to initiate a cutscene, mimicking the iconic scene where Naoya turns away from Choso to brush his hair back, whilst absolutely pumelling him with a barrage of punches. (If you’re confused, you can check out the gif via Tenor)

I hate the dude, but this was hilarious.

Strength-wise, this move is the perfect finisher for the kit, which already focuses on teleportation and staying glued to a target. So, whether you’re battling bosses or players, having Absolute Beatdown in your arsenal is the funniest rage-inducing way to dispel any threats.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Projection Sorcery good for the late game?
    • Yes. The kit is designed around neutralising enemies in PvP, so whilst the kit isn’t as PvE focused, it has enough teleport tricks to hold its own, even in the late game.
