How To Use a Domain Fragment

Domain Fragments are only valuable if you use a Cursed Technique with the capacity to unlock a Domain Expansion. To check, head to the Overview tab, select Mastery, and check for the Domain Expansion branch on your Technique.

Typically, a CT has three skills, so seeing a fourth one that is locked means you can use a Domain Fragment to unlock your DE.

Alongside a Domain Fragment, the Cursed Technique will require a Mastery and Yen investment. This isn’t too unusual for new skills, so you’ll need to train and grind with your Cursed Technique until you unlock its full potential.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which CTs have a Domain Expansion?
    • Limitless, Shrine, Mythical Beast Amber, Projection Sorcery, Love Train, Judgeman.
  • How do I quickly increase my CT Mastery?
    • Completing quests and defeating enemy clusters is the quickest way, as you’ll be training on several targets as opposed to just one. I also recommend joining Raids if you have a strong enough build for the boss. Raids aren’t as efficient, but they give you the most chances to get a Domain Fragment if you don’t have one already.
  • Do all CTs with four skills have a DE?
    • Nope. Some CTs have additional skills which you unlock through questlines and mastery. For an example of this, I recommend reading my guide on how to get the Zenin Heirloom. Completing this questline unlocks the Absolute Beatdown skill for Projection Sorcery, which is similar to a DE, but not a true Domain Expansion.
