Feature image for our Mongil Star Dive Tier List and Reroll Guide showing the character Mina in a close headshot. She has the back of her hand raised to her mouth and a soft smile on her face. The pose resembles that of someone readying to perform hand-to-hand combat moves, such as karate. The image has a red theme, from outfit to lighting.

Theres lots to cover in this Mongil Star Dive Tier List and Reroll Guide, so I’ll cut to the chase.

Stick with me to dive into the rankings for this newly released gacha, including a brief overview of how each character performs in Story, Conquest, and Dimensional Rifts. After, I’ll explain the reroll process, why you should probably skip it for this game, and who to prioritise with your initial Summons.

Let’s get into the good stuff!

Mongil Star Dive Tier List and Reroll Guide

This tier and reroll guide is up to date as of April 15th, 2026.

Tier List

S-TIER

  • Flare
    • Story: One of the strongest Story units despite lacking in AoE skills.
    • Conquest: Potential as main DPS, absolutely insane skills against bosses.
    • Dimensional Rift: Not as effective outside of boss fights, but still a strong unit.
  • Mina
    • Story: Huge AoE DMG if supplied enough Essence.
    • Conquest: Constant assaults due to low cooldown skills.
    • Dimensional Rift: Fast and precise attacks, good for shaving off time.
  • Esther
    • Story: Autos constantly applies sweeping Wind AoE DMG and applies confusion debuffs to enemies.
    • Conquest: Constant assaults due to low cooldown skills.
    • Dimensional Rift: AoE tied to a circle on high cooldown; Burst DMG is a little outclassed.
  • Sangun
    • Story: Easy to play with high and effective attack speed and range.
    • Conquest: Huge DMG against bosses weak to Wind.
    • Dimensional Rift: Well-rounded DMG.

A-TIER

  • Angel
    • Story: Huge AoE dealer and also a major sub-DPS.
    • Conquest: Not as effective, but decent for ultimate spams or as a sub-DPS.
    • Dimensional Rift: The IDEAL unit for this mode. Her skills are so well-balanced to perform.
  • Ophelia
    • Story: Limiting AoE due to high-attacking autos.
    • Conquest: Great DMG against bosses weak to Ice, but less effective outside of these battles.
    • Dimensional Rift: Slow AoE, but still formidable.
  • Gabi
    • Story: Requires a stream of Spiritual Power to enhance AoE skills.
    • Conquest: Great DMG against bosses weak to Earth, but less effective outside of these battles.

  • Jiwon
    • Story: Core Wind unit for DPS, but lacks healing skills and needs a ton of set-up to perform.
    • Conquest: Not as effective for this mode.
    • Dimensional Rift: Has an affinity for Stamina and grouping enemies, making her efficient on time in this mode.

B-TIER

  • Benjamin
    • Story: A good AoE tag-in after triggering special skills.
    • Conquest: Only beneficial if you also run a lightning DPS.
    • Dimensional Rift: Sub-DPS unit, making him solid in this mode.
  • Cloud
    • Story: Long build-up, but has decent AoE and stagger DMG.
    • Conquest: Solid neutralisation DMG and Burst.
    • Dimensional Rift: Decently balanced for this mode thanks to AoE and stagger DMG.
  • Sera
    • Story: Good AoE, but requires setting up Seed of Awakening to really get going.
    • Conquest: Overall decent thanks to her balanced DMG.
    • Dimensional Rift: Offers good special skills and solid AoE DMG.
  • Bonnie
    • Story: Buffs Crit DMG and applies solid AoE explosions.
    • Conquest: Not very efficient in this mode.
    • Dimensional Rift: Requires leaning on Crit, making her not very efficient in this mode.
  • Francis
    • Story: Healers aren’t as efficient in the open-world part of the game.
    • Conquest: Buffs Crit DMG and Earth DMG with her free artefact. Pretty nifty.
    • Dimensional Rift: Best healer for this mode, especially if paired with an Earth DPS.

C-TIER

  • Penny
    • Story: Needs Seed of Awakenings to do well, but has decent AoE if you invest in her.
    • Conquest: Only really useful against bosses weak to lightning.
    • Dimensional Rift: Not hugely effective in this mode.
  • Leeho
    • Story: Too long to set up as an AoE.
    • Conquest: Low neutralisation DMG, not as efficient in this mode.
    • Dimensional Rift: Poor without high awakenings. Overall, not worth investing in over higher-tier units.
  • Ellie
    • Story: Pretty bad in the open-world part of the game.
    • Conquest: Good burst neutralisation DMG, whilst also providing a small heal to the team.
    • Dimensional Rift: Kit is a bit niche for this mode, but she is pretty good for neutralisation DMG.
  • Yeonhwa
    • Story: Long set-up, but applies decent AoE.
    • Conquest: Low neutralisation DMG, not as effective in this mode.
    • Dimensional Rift: Relies on your main DPS having a solid Crit Rate, not as effective in this mode.

    • Story: Not as efficient in this gamemode.
    • Conquest: Low neutralisation DMG, not as effective in this mode.
    • Dimensional Rift: Pretty underwhelming in this mode.
  • Reina
    • Story: Bit of a letdown if you don’t invest in her awakenings.
    • Conquest: Decent neutralisation and burst DMG.
    • Dimensional Rift: Awkward skills, and relies partly on HP, but overall good neutralisation DMG.
  • Daisy
    • Story: Healers aren’t that strong in the open-world part of the game.
    • Conquest: Forces healing characters to stay in a circle, slowing down the gameplay.
    • Dimensional Rift: Forces units to stay still, not very good for utility or efficiency.

Reroll Guide

First, I have some bad news… Unlike other gachas, Mongil Star Drive doesn’t honour salt emails, meaning to reroll, you need to create and bind a new authentic email each time.

Deleting data in-game to restart also isn’t feasible since unbinding an account and deletion will take around 30 days to finalise.

With that out of the way, and rerolls unlikely, I’ll instead give you some pointers on who to prioritise for summons.

Eternal Promise Banner

Guarantees at least one 5-Star character within the first 20 pulls. Plus, with the discount deal featuring 10 pulls for the price of 8, you only need to buy 16 summons to land a 5-Star character.

From this banner, you’ll ideally want to grab Flare, who is consistently a strong choice for Storymode, Conquest, and Dimensional Rift.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does each tier mean?
    • S: These are the absolute best units, which are versatile enough to handle Storymode, Conquest and Dimensional Rift without much interference or drops in performance.
    • A: These are high-performing characters that fluidly adapt to most of Mongil’s gamemodes. That said, they fall short due to not synergising with teammates as well, or their performance gap in certain modes.
    • B: Settling into the middle tier, those here are solid tertiary team options, but their kits aren’t as useful in other modes. Overall, I don’t recommend investing too much in them.
    • C: Not the worst, but just niche and situational enough that you likely won’t keep them around. Those here have very specific kits that don’t work well in all modes.
    • D: These units are the lowest performers, with long set-ups, poor team synergy, and weaker kits for each of the modes. I do not recommend teaming with these characters.
  • Are there any units I should look out for in future banners?
    • Yes! In around two weeks from the launch, characters Narae and Mina are set to be released. Both of which will be meta-defining characters, whom I highly recommend you save summons to pull for.
  • Are there any release codes?
    • LOVEMONGIL
    • MONGILDISCORD
    • DEVLIVE0410
    • MONGILPRESENT
    • DINDINISDINDIN
    • MONGILREPORT
