Rangers X experienced a great reset as voted by the gaming community. In doing so, the game meta completely shifted, and older tier lists have lost their prestige.
My Re Rangers X Tier List has reshuffled the rankings, taking the time to play and adapt to each unit to tell you who came out on top, and who became a flop.
So, without further ado, let’s get into the rankings.

What Each Tier Means
- S: Call me a doughnut the way I glaze these top tiers. They’re so fun to have in a team, expressing versatility, high strength, adaptability, and amazing synergy between units. Those in this tier are the ideal units for end-game players, carrying the entire game and different modes on their pixelated backs.
- A: Secondary to the top, these are excellent team filler units if you don’t have access to solely top tiers. Those here are exceptional, with versatile and powerful skills that make for an ironclad team.
- B: Despite being in the middle tier, I really like these units. They have some excellent uses if you pair them with higher tiers in your loadout. They’re not the most effective, but their skills do come in handy, and they’re a nice tertiary average option to have available.
- C: Second from the bottom, these units tend to be obscure and a little niche. You may find some situational uses for them, but similar to the bottom tier, they don’t hold a candle to the flames in the higher tier, making them a pointless investment late-game.
- D: These are the lamer of the high-rarity units for the re-release. Of course, if you pull them as a noobie, you’ll have no issues ploughing through the early-game content, but they quickly lose their momentum as you enter the mid to late-game territory.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Why isn’t every unit ranked?
- A: Some aren’t worth including in tier lists due to their rarity or overall stats. The chance of a late-game player still partnering with a Rare unit is very unlikely, and so adding them would be mere filler.
- Q: Which units are must-haves?
- A: The Strongest and Curse King are both incredible units, taking the lead of all S-Tiers. They express great combat adaptability and have impressive and powerful skills which synergise well with most team formations.
