Slayerbound Style Tier List
S-TIER
- Thunder Breathing Style
- Somehow, this is one of the strongest Styles as of the release. All of its attacks have naturally higher damage than the others, as well as most being unblockable moves. The only slip side is the cooldowns, but the variety in PvP and PvE moves more than makes up for Thunder lacks.
A-TIER
- Water Breathing Style
- Water has a lot of blockable moves, so if you main this style, you may struggle to get past enemy defences. However, if you do, you’ll find Water to be a very formidable style with powerful abilities and good combo extenders.
- Flame Breathing Style
- A decently strong Style with a good variety of moves, handling AoE and close combat with ease. Its main drawback is the number of blockable moves this Style has, and some skills lack serious damage.
B-TIER
- Wind Breathing Style
- A well-rounded style that has a variety of moves. It’s one the user would need to synergise with and adapt to so they don’t end up without skills whilst they’re all on cooldown. That said, it’s quite powerful and good for combos.
C-TIER
- There are currently no C-Tier styles.
D-TIER
- There are no bottom-tier Styles right now.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: What does each tier mean?
- S: In the top tier, we have the strongest Styles available in the game. Those here are the peak of the slayers corps, expressing a good balance between high damage, moderate cooldowns, combo extenders, and skill versatility to handle PvP and PvE effortlessly.
- A: Next up, the A-Tiers! Those here are decent alternatives if you don’t fancy the top-tier picks. They’re often just as formidable as the top tier, with only one or two negligible drawbacks.
- B: Settled into the middle tier, those here are average Styles. You could comfortably adopt and wield these and grow to love them, but they don’t suit the playstyle of everyone.
- C: These Styles aren’t all that impressive, but they at least have the bottom tier beat. Their main drawback is how overall lacklustre they feel when playing. They have poor attacks, no skill variety, and their combos aren’t that fun.
- D: This bottom tier is reserved for only the worst Styles that present themselves more as styleless. Which, you may as well stay if your only option is one of these weaklings. They struggle to hold their own, and they don’t fare much better than the standard katana.
- Q: How do I get a Style?
- A: You need to find the respective Style Trainer on the map and accept their questline. This usually includes proving yourself in combat, as well as collecting items such as Demon Horns.
