Verse Piece Babylon’s Key – Obtainment
To get the Babylon Key, take a trip to Bleach Island and speak with the Babylon Key Exchanger NPC. He will sell you one Babylon Key for 5k Gems, 250 Gold, and 10 Boss Tickets.
Gems and Gold come in abundance from defeating bosses, whereas Boss Tickets come from defeating Bosses and the Ticket Exhanger NPC, who gives 1 for every 3 mythical materials given.
Alternatively, you could see if any players have extra that they’re willing to part with. You’ll likely need to offer something of equal value to trade, so be prepared with your offer.
Babylon’s Key Uses
The Babylon Key serves two purposes: spawning the Gilgamesh boss and obtaining the Gilgamesh Spec.
If you’re after the Spec, you’ll need to defeat the boss first as he drops other necessary materials for obtainment. Head to Desert Town and summon him using 2.5k Gems and a Babylon Key on the golden Portal.
You’ll need several keys to repeat the boss fight as one of the spec requirements is the King of Heroes title, which players gain after defeating Gilgamesh 25 times.
So, the absolute minimum amount of keys you’ll need, assuming Gilgamesh drops the other materials during those title fights, is 26 Babylon Keys (Including the one needed for the Spec)… Expensive!
The full requirements for Gilgamesh include 10,000 Gems, 100k Reputation, x10 Babylon’s Fragments, x1 Babylon’s Key, and the King of Heroes Title.
