Flame Breathing V1
Skip ahead to the Flame Breathing V2 heading if you already know the V1 progression.
Rengoku resides within Starter Village in the right corner, in front of the white house with a blue roof. He will teach you Flame Breathing V1 in exchange for:
- reaching level 5
- 10,000 Yen.
- Complete the Quest: Defeat 25 Demons
- Rewards: 500 Yen and 8,000 EXP
Flame Breathing V1 Mastery
All forms require 16,500 Yen and Mastery level 50+
- First Form: Unknowing Fire: 1k Yen and Level 5 Mastery
- Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun: 2.5k Yen and Level 20 Mastery
- Third Form: Blazing Universe: 5k Yen and Level 40 Mastery
- Fourth Form: Blookming Flame Undulation: 8k Yen and Level 50 Mastery

Weak Legacy 2 Flame Breathing V2 Requirements
- Level 15
- 1,000,000 Yen
- 200 Mastery Levels on Flame Breathing V1
- x10 Ablaze Spirits
- Drops from the Mugen Train Raid
- x2 Crystal Essences
- Drops from the Mugen Train Raid
Flame Breathing V2 Mastery
- First Move: Bursting Ember
- Become a spinning wheel of fire, damaging anything in your travel path (follows cursor).
- Second Move: Rising Solar Burst
- A two-hit move where the player unleashes quick-fire slashes, sending an enemy and themselves into the air.
- Third Move: Scorching Universe
- Quickly travel in a Line AoE whilst gripping an enemy, leaving a trail of fire. This move finishes with a ground slam, inflicting ragdoll.
- Fourth Move: Flame Tiger
- A counter move. After the player negates a hit, they’ll spin and create a wheel of fire, sending an enemy back and ragdolled.
- Fifth Move: Purgatory
- Drops from Awakened Rengoku boss (20.5% chance)
- After a small charge-up, the player envelops a large AoE in flames, travelling upwards, dealing huge damage to any enemy caught inside.
