How To Kill Seekers as a Hider in Ink Game
As a Hider, your sole purpose is to survive and avoid the Seeker’s bloodthirsty wrath. This is easy enough if you stay on the move and hide behind walls, but if you want to win the Ink Game, you’ll need to whittle down the competition and think ahead.
First, head right from spawn and around the bend to the first green door with vertical stripes. Use your free starting key on this door and now wait. Do NOT enter the door.
When the Seekers are released, you’ll need to lure one to the door and push them in. The door leads downwards to a floor of sharp protruding spikes. This is easier said than done, so I recommend the following tactics:
- Preserve the food item you obtain from Lights Out, as consuming this will restore some health if the Seeker slashes you.
- Run around the walls to gain distance if you need to get the Seeker in place. This also helps when resetting the cooldown for your dodge and push.
- Seekers can sometimes counter your dodges, so be careful when staying too close to them.
- When the seeker is in line with the door, close in and push. You may take a hit, but this is what your food is for!
How Easy Is Killing As a Hider?
Not very, unless you’re well-trained and have tried this method several times to get down an ironclad routine. Every Seeker has the advantage since they wield a weapon, and they have to kill Hiders. Personally, I’ll stick to hiding and running away like a chicken.
