Type Soul Fire Knight Weapons Obtainment
Both of the new Fire Knight weapons drop from hell mobs with relative ease. A small grind session, and you should find yourself newly equipped, no weapon box rerolls needed! I recommend fighting the Lava Monsters primarily, as these are easy to defeat and have a decent chance to drop either weapon.
Now, let’s get into their individual attacks!
Fire Knight Katana
The Katana is Soul Reaper exclusive, and has the following attacks:
- M1 Attack: The player performs wide forward swinds with no fire imbued in their strike. The 5th slash knocks the opponent back a little bit.
- Burst Crit: The player lunges forward and performs a powerful slash, creating a circle AoE of fire that surrounds the attacker.
- Long-range Crit: The player thrusts their blade forward, casting a long-range fireball.
- This Crit is a reskin of the Greatsword Crit move.
Fire Knight Dagger
The Dagger is a Quincy exclusive and has the following attacks:
- M1: Simple connecting strikes with no imbued fire.
- Basic Crit: The player slashes upwards, leaving a trail of fire in their path.
- Burst Crit: The player stabs forward rapidly several times, each jab imbued with fire.
- Long-range Crit: The player thrusts their blade forward, casting a long-range fireball.
- This Crit is a reskin of the Greatsword Crit move.
Should You Get These Weapons?
Hell isn’t an easy place to survive, and drops from it tend to be formidable. So long as the weapons fit your build and playstyle, I think they’re worth obtaining and trialling at the very least.
