The Pop Team Epic x #COMPASS collaboration has officially kicked off today after the game’s maintenance. It’s bringing in Popuko and Pipimi as new tank heroes. It’s the first time in a while that the game has introduced a collab tank, which makes the addition stand out compared to recent crossovers.
The collaboration had been teased earlier in mid-September
Popuko and Pipimi come with their character theme song Pop Team Epic. What makes this collab particularly unique is the voice work.
Instead of sticking to a single set of seiyuus, the developers included 10 different voice actors in total, with 2 covering each of the 5 alternate skins. So, you’ll hear variations depending on which version of Popuko or Pipimi you decide to use.
