The new trailer of Hell’s Paradise Season 2 teases the next wave of battles and new faces joining the cast. Among the newcomers, Shugen will be voiced by Ryota Suzuki, known for playing Ryusei in Dr. STONE. Koji Yusa, who voiced Renzo in Blue Exorcist, steps in as Jikka.
Maaya Uchida, familiar as Nanaka from Grand Blue Dreaming, will play Kiyomaru. Sayaka Ohara, known for playing Erza in Fairy Tail, will take on the role of Isuzu.
On that note, let me tell you a bit about the production team as well. Kaori Makita, who previously directed Kakegurui Twin, is leading at studio MAPPA. Akira Kindaichi will be handling the series composition. His recent work includes NieR:Automata Ver1.1a.
Character designs are by Koji Hisaki, who worked as a prop designer on BANANA FISH. And the music comes from Yoshiaki Dewa, best known for Call of the Night.

Hell’s Paradise, the anime, first aired in April 2023. Adapting Yuji Kaku’s dark fantasy manga, it’s about Gabimaru the Hollow, a feared shinobi sentenced to death. He ends up on a mysterious island filled with monstrous creatures, dangerous flora, and immortal beings.
The government sends him and a group of other criminals there under the watch of executioners. The goal is to retrieve the Elixir of Life. In exchange, the government promises them a pardon. Season 1 covered the early survival trials on the island and introduced the terrifying enemies known as the Tensen.
You can watch it on Crunchyroll if you haven’t already.
