Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has finally gone live. The MMORPG is developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology and published by A Plus Japan. It continues the legacy of Bandai Namco’s Blue Protocol MMO, which ran from 2023 to 2025 before shutting down.

The global launch brings Blue Protocol: Star Resonance to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as iOS and Android. Initially planned as a mobile-only project, the concept grew into a fully-fledged cross-platform MMORPG after Bandai Namco’s original game ended.

Set in the vast land of Magna, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has action combat and freeform discovery. You can mine rare crystals and collect mystical herbs and mushrooms. And just like that, you might find yourself caught in sudden monster stampedes while exploring its lush environments.

Every corner of Regnus has both intensity and relaxation. One moment you’re fending off enemies, and the next you’re fishing by a riverside or setting off fireworks with friends at night.

The combat system follows a classic party structure with DPS, tank, and healer roles, but you aren’t locked into one path. You can switch between combat styles freely, using shields, radiant spells, or intricate combos. Teamwork plays a major role, especially during boss battles.

The game lets you experiment with outfits and expressive options that bring individuality to their characters. And the game also emphasizes a sense of community, reinforced by guilds, trading systems, and group events.

Although free to play, the game offers multiple in-game currencies in both earned and purchased forms. Microtransactions include cosmetic gacha items, convenience boosts to speed up progress, and optional combat-related items.

The game is out now globally. So, you can dive into Regnus, a world with shared adventure and open-world exploration, on any platform you want. Check it out on Steam, Epic Games Store, App Store or Google Play Store.
