Lovisia is teaming up once again with Nagano’s Chiikawa, bringing a new set of themed cosmetics this winter. Lovisia is a Japanese cosmetics brand that is known for its adorable, kawaii packaging. Meanwhile, Chiikawa needs no introduction.
When does the collab start?
Starting October 31st, the collab introduces two adorable items. They’re the Lovisia Chiikawa Mascot Hand Cream and the Lovisia Chiikawa Lip Cream Heart Series. Both will be available through the Lovisia online shop, Chiikawa Market, Chiikawa Land, and variety stores across Japan.
The hand cream line stands out for its pastel packaging and especially for the small 3D mascots perched on top of each tube. They’re tiny silicone versions of Chiikawa and friends like Hachiware, Rabbit, Kurimanju, Flying Squirrel, Sea Otter, and Shisa.
Each variant carries its own distinct fragrance and design. There’s Chiikawa’s is white tea scented, Hachiware comes with a pink bouquet scent, and Rabbit is white tree. Next, Chestnut Manju has floral soap, Flying Squirrel has soap, Sea Otter features sweet osmanthus, and Shisa comes with a peony fragrance.
Every 30 mL tube is priced at 1,100 yen (tax included) and uses a blend of flower extracts and moisturising ingredients like shea butter, honey extract, and hyaluronic acid.
The lip cream series also follows the character theme with seven types priced at 858 yen each (tax included). The scents range from milk tea for Chiikawa and peach for Hachiware, to melon for Rabbit, and grape for Kurimanju.
Also, there’s blueberry for Flying Squirrel, yuzu for Sea Otter, and mango for Shisa. Each design features a cute, compact form that matches the hand cream line’s charm.
