A TV anime based on FX Fighter KURUMICHAN, also known as FX Senshi Kurumi-chan, is coming this year! The broadcast window is set for 2026. The reveal came alongside the launch of an official website and an X (formerly Twitter) account, both of which went live today.
Kicking off the project, the team also dropped a teaser trailer and two teaser visuals. They also confirmed key cast and staff members of the production. First, take a look at the FX Fighter KURUMICHAN TV anime trailer below.
It’s an investment-themed slice-of-life manga
The manga was written by Demunyan and Daisuki Tansan. It was originally published as a web comic on Demunyan’s personal website. Later, it moved to serialisation in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Flapper magazine in February 2021.
Kadokawa has overseen its publication, announcing the anime adaptation and confirming its 2026 debut. Studio Passione will produce the anime, with Yuki Ogawa directing the series. Kenta Ihara is handling the series composition and scripts.
Character designs are created by Kazuyuki Ueda. Music for the series will be composed by Takuro Iga, also credited as Takurō Iga. Meanwhile, Aina Suzuki will voice the lead role of Kurumi Fukuga. She has appeared as Ivy in The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash.

The manga follows the story of Kurumi Fukuga. She’s a college student who steps into foreign exchange trading with the goal of recovering 20 million yen that her late mother lost. That’s about $126,000.
Kurumi believes she can easily make the money back, only to discover that FX trading can shift from heaven to hell in an instant. Despite the risks, Kurumi remains determined to keep buying, selling and trying to earn. She’s joined by fellow FX enthusiasts and fighters including Mochiko, Mebuki and Yasuko in the story.
