The confirmation that Chapter 130 will close the current storyline makes it clear that the manga is reaching a planned stopping point rather than an abrupt cancellation. Chapter 129 has already been released, and Chapter 130 will arrive on March 4th, 2026.
While Part 1 of the manga is ending, the Bungou Stray Dogs franchise remains extensive. Multiple spin-offs, including BEAST, STORM BRINGER, Wan!, and Dead Apple, continue to explore alternate timelines and side stories.
The anime adaptation by Studio Bones began in 2016, roughly four years after the manga’s debut, and has since aired five seasons. The fifth season concluded in 2023.
