The Magic Entrance Exam begins as soon as you create your new save, including all new character slots. With 5 stages to complete before your true campaign begins, you may want to know how to complete the Mashle Academy Entrance Exam.

How To Complete The Mashle Academy Entrance Exam
Written Exam
The Written Exam changes each time, but should be simple enough to answer correctly. Questions often require choosing a corresponding stat, based on a small description of the player’s desires.
For example: Choose the best Stat option that matches this description: I want to be able to deal massive damage with my magic spells!
Answer choices include: Magic, Muscle, Health, Stamina, and Agility.
The answer to this question is: Magic. (Strength increases raw dmg for non-magic users, so it isn’t the correct answer here).
Completing The Maze
Possibly the most complicated challenge for the entire exam is completing the Maze before the timer elapses. Fortunately, I have the map routed out in the image below:
Simply follow the blue-lined path to make it from start to end. You have around 10 minutes to complete this, so you don’t need to rush.
Prodigy Challenge
After completing the Maze, you’ll fight your first Monster enemy. This Exam task will teach you some combat basics, so don’t worry if you don’t succeed immediately.
I recommend keeping distance and firing off small blasts in quick intervals to whittle the enemy’s HP down without sustaining too much damage yourself.
If you fail, don’t worry, as you can repeat this third trial over and over until you succeed.
The Proctor
As opposed to the previous fight, this one is a little more involved and tricky, requiring skills you’ll hopefully learn in the previous battle to win.
The Proctor battle requires you to defeat your Proctor (Teacher) in a battle. Unlike the previous task, the Proctor also weilds magic skills, meaning shying away and dealing damage from a distance isn’t likely.
Skeleton Horse
Finally, a pretty easy task.
Approach the Skeleton Horse and receive your Academy House. These include the Easton Academy, Walkis Academy, and Saint Ars Academy.
Academies guide Events, Guilds and Influence within the game. To change your Academy House, visit the Academy Librarian within the Library of the school.

- A: Yes. If you pass up to the Maze and then fail the Prodigy challenge, you won’t have to recomplete the entire Exam.
- Q: Which is the hardest Exam challenge?
- A: Without knowing the maze route, I’d say that’s the trickiest, but thanks to this guide, I’d instead say the Proctor fight is the hardest to complete.
