LIAR GAME anime has released a new trailer with its opening theme song. While the anime is preparing for its early April rollout, it has given out additional details about its broadcast and streaming plans.
The series begins on April 6th on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, as well as BS TV Tokyo. Remow has licensed streaming on Crunchyroll outside Japan and China. Lastly, AMEDIATEKA will oversee distribution in the Russian Federation.

The adaptation was first revealed during Remow’s panel at Anime NYC 2025 in August 2025. The latest trailer gives a glimpse into the main cast and the high-stakes environment they are forced into.
It shows the opening song Bubble by Yorushika. The singer is known for Orb: On the Movements of the Earth ED. Meanwhile, the ending theme Asahi by Lucky Kilimanjaro will accompany the series each week.

Saya Hitomi takes on the role of Nao Kanzaki, with Takeo Otsuka voicing Shinichi Akiyama. Studio MADHOUSE is handling the production, with Yuzo Sato serving as chief director and Asami Kawano directing. Tatsuhiko Urahata is responsible for series composition and scripts, Kei Tsuchiya is designing the characters, and Yugo Kanno is composing the music.
The project is based on the manga by Shinobu Kaitani, which ran in Weekly Young Jump from February 2005 to January 2015. Over the years, the story has seen multiple adaptations.
It got a Japanese television drama that debuted in 2007 and returned for a second season between 2009 and 2010. It was followed by two live-action films, Liar Game: The Final Stage in 2010 and Liar Game: Reborn in 2012.
