Making room for the newest units, the previous must-have characters have shuffled around. Some have left the S-Tier entirely, others hold strong amongst their new peers.

Universal Tower Defense 2.0 Tier List

This tier list is up to date as of April 13th, 2026. [UPD 2.0]

S-TIER

At the top of the tier, we have a lot of Secret and Mythic units, to the probable surprise of no one. These incredible units synergise well with their team, providing good passives and powerful PvP and PvE skills.

  • Water God
  • Phantom Captain
  • Jinoo
  • Ancient Shinobi
  • Sasku (Great War)
  • Migumen
  • Ichiko
  • Dragon Guy
  • Lulu
  • Ice Empress (Frost)
  • Tai Yang
  • Nutaru (Sage)
  • King Sailor
  • The Drink
  • Psycho
  • Spade
  • Virtual Idol
  • Tierabel
  • Berserker
  • Bambee (Blitz)

A-TIER

Solid secondary units to enlist if you can’t create a full roster of solely top tiers. Those here are incredibly powerful, but need a little more investment to truly feel like end game material.

  • Bio-Android (Imperfect)
  • First Human
  • Judas
  • Footballer (Ego)
  • Enlightened God
  • Rohan and Robot 16
  • Dragon Slayer
  • Ultiorra
  • Karbonoto
  • Kiratu
  • Underworld God
  • Sharpshooter
  • Jangluu
  • Bulmo
  • Fastcar

B-TIER

The middle tier hosts a lot of Mythic units, which seems almost unnatural. However, to shift your perspective, they’re quite average compared to other units of the same rarity. This means they’re still good to use if you have them, but you’ll likely want to expand your team with the top-tier units if you want to surpass the endgame.

  • Lord of the Flies
  • Koyote
  • Nellee
  • Super Roku
  • Fallen Prince
  • Robot 17 and 18
  • Cyborg Disciple
  • Shunks
  • Sasku
  • Prodigy God
  • Ruka
  • Greybeard
  • Zorus
  • Gen
  • Pebble

C-TIER

Similar to the bottom tier, these are weak and mostly forgettable units. They’re easily replaceable, but a good stepping stone for bridging the gap between the early and mid-game.

  • Admiral
  • Shakumira
  • Triple Threat
  • Masked Ninja

D-TIER

A tier consisting of the forgettable fodder units that nobody seems to use past the first ever stage. As expected, they’re all rare, with some epic rarities dappled in.

  • Fire Foot Cook
  • Nejo
  • Laffy
  • Nutaru (Kid)
  • Gaaru
  • Orahemi
  • Namo
  • Ranji
  • Roku
