Unsure which bits and bobs to roll for? My Anime Apocalypse Gadgets Tier List ranks each with reasons so you know tier placement, how to use in an ideal scenario, and why they’re placed in their respective ranks.
So, let’s cut to the chase and get into what you came for.
Anime Apocalypse Gadgets Tier List
This Tier is up to date as of May 5th, 2026.
S-TIER
- Black Hole
- Draws enemies closer to the host before dispelling them from a powerful AoE attack built into the Gadget.
- Infinity
- Grants the host an invincibility buff for 15 seconds. Great for in a pinch moments, boss fights, or just keeping yourself safe when massively outnumbered.
- Conquerors Haki
- Immediately destroys weak enemies. What more can I say?
A-TIER
- Rage
- Buffs Damage and Movement Speed for a short time. This Gadget is decent, but it only really applies what the cards you find during campaigns do, so it’s not too special or unique. You could just collect cards through runs instead and have the same abilities.
- Time Stop
- A better version of the Beacon Taunt, which freezes enemies where they stand for several seconds. Helps to dispel enemies if you follow up with a strong AoE attack. Keeps enemies off the players, but is more versatile than solely being a last-ditch effort to save a run, unlike Beacon.
B-TIER
- Medkit
- The beginner’s gadget. Considering it’s offered to all players, it’s pretty nifty in its uses, for healing 50 HP to the user and nearby allies in range.
C-TIER
- Beacon Taunt
- Drops a Beacon that rallies up enemies to stop them from chasing players temporarily. Great if you can dispel of them with an AoE before their attention turns back to the players. This isn’t a poor Gadget, but it’s only good if you’re in a pinch and about to lose the run.
D-TIER
- There are no D-Tier Gadgets currently.

- What does each Tier mean?
- S: The universally best Gadgets in the game, great for all game modes, as well as single and multiplayer. With these, you’ve got the best odds of completing a run and getting out alive.
- A: Solid secondary options if you don’t want to risk a reroll, or fancy trying out a less popular Gadget, be it for self-use or universal if you run with a team.
- B: Decent Gadgets. Those here have their place and time, but aren’t always the best option when in a pinch or setting up for a major fight.
- C: These Gadgets aren’t frequently useful, making them weaker options to wield. Overall, I recommend rerolling as you’re not missing much by skipping them.
- D: Better than none, which fortunately isn’t an option, but these Gadgets are pretty forgettable and barely support players with their niche and situational uses.
