Assassination Classroom The Movie: Our Time anime is premiering in Japan on March 20th, 2026. The team has released a new trailer and visual on the franchise’s official website and social media accounts, featuring Class 3-E together again.
The team released the first teaser trailer in September that showed new scenes narrated by Korosensei. This time, the new trailer also introduces the film’s theme song, Teacher. It’s performed by singer-songwriter Sora Tomonari, who previously performed the ending theme for Kingdom Season 6.
The song was written specifically for the anime, Assassination Classroom The Movie: Our Time. Tomonari also contributed the song Kiiro Shingō for the TV anime’s rebroadcast earlier this spring.
According to Tomonari, Teacher was created as a way to express gratitude toward Koro Sensei. It reflects the feeling of having been one of the students of Class 3-E who grew up under that unusual guidance.

Here’s the cast and staff for Assassination Classroom The Movie: Our Time anime
The film is directed by Masaki Kitamura at animation studio Lerche. Makoto Uezu is returning to handle the script and Aya Higami is overseeing character designs. Kitamura’s previous work includes After-School Hanako-kun and Gundam Evolve, while Higami has also worked on After-School Hanako-kun.
Avex Film Labels is handling distribution for the Japanese theatrical release on March 20th, 2026. The cast from the original television anime will reprise their roles. Kikuko Inoue will voice for Azusa, Mai Fuchigami for Hotaru in addition to her role as Nagisa. Sayumi Suzushiro will play Kaho Tsuchiya and Mai Kanazawa as Kokona Tagawa.
The movie assembles a full collection of episodes that were left out of the television anime due to time constraints. Original manga creator Yūsei Matsui has emphasised that the film will celebrate the series’ 10th anniversary and also function as a continuation of the main story.
