S-TIER

  • Angel Fiend
    • The Angel Fiend powers are strong, versatile, and synergise well with other builds, making it an ideal choice when choosing which Fiend to inhabit. Plus, with its Year Drain ability, opponents will lose HP quicker than they realise, whilst the Angel user replenishes itself.

A-TIER

  • Blood Fiend
    • Okay, look, I know we all love Power, but her fiend ability is at most a high A+ tier. This is due to the Blood skills being so focused on close-range that when in combat, there isn’t much versatility. That said, the Skills included are powerful and tricky to avoid if you end up toe-to-toe with a Blood user.
  • Shark Fiend
    • BEAM!! This unbiased placement has earned an A-Rank due to its interesting skills. The Shark Fiend offers close and long-range attacks, with the Dive attack allowing the user to sneak up on opponents and deal serious damage too! Overall, it’s a good pick, powerful, and very toothy.

B-TIER

  • Nail Fiend
    • This skillset is fun to use, but not as versatile or powerful as the higher tiers. This leaves it dwindling in the average. A lot of this moveset relies on traps and quickfire attacks that impale enemies before they can counter.

C-TIER

  • There are no C-TIER Fiends at the moment.

D-TIER

  • There are no D-TIER Fiends at the moment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: What does each tier mean?
    • S: The strongest Fiends in the game, offering powerful and versatile skills that are fun to wield and deal serious damage!
    • A: Great alternatives to the top tier. Those here only have a few minor drawbacks, so they’re not a poor long-term choice.
    • B: Nestled into the average tier, those here are decent, but far from the best. They have notable gaps in their skillset that allow enemies to exploit weak points and occasionally take the win.
    • C: Low-quality skills that don’t offer strong combat diversity, making them a poor long-term choice.
    • D: Weak, forgettable Fiends with lacklustre movesets that are quickly overwhelmed in combat.
  • Q: How do I determine the ranks?
    • A: The tiers are chosen based on research, first-hand experience, and player consensus to try and bring you the most unbiased opinion. That said, games are supposed to be fun, so don’t take the ranks verbatim if you have a preference.
  • Q: Is there a META to Devil Hunter?
    • A: Primarily no. Devil Hunter is a completely customisable game, so no two players will experience it the same, nor have the same build. That said, there are parts to the game that are undeniably stronger than the rest, such as Weapons and their Skills.
