The Alter Clan represents the best of Melee, with its well-balanced and fruitful buffs, alongside the +10% Melee DMG. Its unique ability helps users with this Clan strike harder every 5 abilities, meaning it holds the strategic edge if you reserve your stronger skills for the 1.5x DMG Multi.
Arguably, this Clan also suffices just fine for Sword users as its overall enhancements are pretty good, and the unique ability still applies to Sword Skills.

What Are Clans?
Think of Clans as a surname that you proudly carry. In exchange for representation in this lineage, you’ll earn powerful buffs that enhance your vital and primary stats.
Not all Clans are one-size-fits-all, with those in the higher rarity brackets offering refined buffs, such as Sword DMG Multis and Melee DMG Multis. Ensuring your Clan fits your combat style is typically more valuable than anything considered the Best Clan.
How To Get Clans
Each time you use a Clan Reroll item, you’ll randomly roll into a new Clan. The chance of a low-tier Clan is imminent until reaching 500 Rerolls, when the pity system will kick in and guarantee a Legendary Clan on your next roll.
Clan Rerolls (item) drop from any NPC in the game, meaning you’ll passively earn them as you play and defeat mobs and bosses across the islands.
During rerolls, your odds of each rarity bracket are as follows:
- Common Clan chance: 59.75%
- Uncommon Clan chance: 28%
- Rare Clan chance: 10%
- Epic Clan chance: 2%
- Legendary Clan chance: 0.25% (500 Pity)
Clan Reroll item drop chance:
- Minimum: 0.088% chance (Lowest level NPCs)
- Maximum: 0.394% chance (Highest level NPCs)
- Average: 0.22% chance per kill
