Feeling out of control? Jokes aside, my Uma Racing Controls guide is here to help! Here, I list all the main keybinds and their functions, including those that can be toggled and changed via Settings for smoother gameplay.

Uma Racing Controls: PC

  • Movement: WASD
  • Sprint: Repeatedly tap/alternate between Q+E or M1+M2.
    • Or, change this in the settings menu to holding Shift if you’d prefer a more generic Sprint toggle.
  • Full-speed Sprint
    • Sprint until your speed bar passes the white bar. This begins to drain your Stamina (Blue bar).
  • Spurt: R key.
    • Instantly reduce (if behind) or increase (if ahead) the distance between opponents. It can be used twice during one race.
  • Zone: G Key.
    • Enter a flow-state with or without a cutscene to buff your performance and debuff nearby Umas.
  • Ability: F Key.
    • Trigger your unique Uma ability to gain speed/stamina for a brief moment.
  • QTE [Starting Race]: Random letters surrounding WASD.
    • Reduce your starting race delay by completing the minigame successfully.
  • QTE [Corner Recovery]: Space bar
    • Recover Stamina after turning corners by completing the minigame. Aim to get the moving bar within the red zone and hit space to gain Stamina (three times per corner).
  • Zoom In: I Key.
  • Zoom Out: O Key.
  • Emote Wheel: B Key.
    • Change your assigned Emotes by holding M1/long clicking on a slot.

Console Controls

  • Increase Speed: L2
  • Sprint: LT
  • Spurt: LB
  • Skill: RB
  • Zone: Right D Pad
  • Ability: R1
  • QTE: R1/R2/L1/L2
  • Shift Lock: Left D Pad

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which keys can I change in Settings?

A: On PC, you can change your run/sprint key to Shift instead of Q+E/M1+M2. I recommend running around the lobby to see which is more comfortable before readying up for a race.
