Glohow’s Black Beacon has announced its EOS, only seven months after its launch in April 2025. The game’s official X account confirmed that everything will wrap up after the 1.3 update. And as a final sendoff, the team is giving away a few gifts to players.
The game’s brief global run is coming to a close
From November 17th, 2025, which is today, new downloads and all in-app or web-store purchases have been disabled. The actual Black Beacon EOS is on December 31st, 2025.
By January 2nd, 2026, Black Beacon’s official channels and website will be taken offline as well. For players checking on regional timing, the final shutdown on December 31st, 2025, lines up with 8 PM (PT) and 11 PM (ET).
The game will keep running until then, but no new updates or technical support will follow once the 1.3 update is out. Meanwhile, refunds will be available for unused paid Rune Stones until December 26th, 2025.
The team specifically warned players not to spend any more Rune Stones after sending in their refund request to avoid delays or miscalculations. Items purchased separately, including the Pure Energy Bonus battle pass, will stay active until their individual expiration dates.

Until November 30th, 2025, you’ll receive items daily through the in-game mailbox. From December 1st to 31st, the same support items will switch to a weekly schedule every Monday. The list of gifts includes Rune Shard x1000 and Spherical fruits – Large x2.
Glohow explained why the choice to shut everything down came. It was after realising they wouldn’t be able to offer future content or support once the developer, MINGZHOU Technology, could no longer maintain the global operation past version 1.3.
