After announcing its release date last month, upcoming TV anime series Eren the Southpaw has revealed new details. It’s the additional cast members and a new key visual. With its television debut set for April 2026, the excitement is getting bigger day by day.
Known internationally as Eren the Southpaw and in Japan as Left-Handed Ellen, the series is adapted from the original work by Kappy. It will air on the TV Tokyo Network beginning in April 2026. Signal.MD and Production I.G are handling the production under the direction of Toshimasa Suzuki. His previous work includes RWBY: Ice Queendom.
Here’s the newly revealed cast details of Eren the Southpaw
The announcement talks about five more characters. Sayuri Kato will be voiced by Yui Ishikawa, known for playing Shiori in This Monster Wants to Eat Me. Akira Sekine, who previously appeared as Lilisa in Rock is a Lady’s Modesty, will voice Akari Kishi.
Kazuyuki Okitsu will voice Yusuke Kamiya. He previously worked as Rovel in Dad is a hero, Mom is a spirit, I’m a reincarnator. Yurina Mitsuhashi is voiced by Yurina Amami, who played Kazuki in Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze.
Lastly, Koji Yusa will voice Ryuichi. He earlier portrayed Renzo in Blue Exorcist. Our previous scoop on Eren the Southpaw already lists out the main cast. If you missed it, here it is again. There’s Shoya Chiba as the voice of Koichi Asakura, following his role as Nirei in WIND BREAKER. And Yumi Uchiyama as Eren Yamagishi, after voicing Rudeus in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.
And what about the new visual? Well, it places Koichi Asakura at the centre, presenting him as a struggling designer. The other characters are arranged around him, each gazing in different directions. You can check it out here.
