The TV anime adaptation of MarriageToxin has released new details for the series. First revealed in September, the anime will air in Japan in April 2026. Alongside confirmation of its broadcast window, the production has released its first full trailer and a new visual.

The new visual features Hikaru Gero with his distinctive poison needle, while Mei Kinosaki stands beside him holding a ring box. Yeah, the combination of lethal combat and matchmaking that defines the story. Watch the MarriageToxin trailer here.

Haruki Ishiya leads the cast as Hikaru Gero, with Shion Wakayama voicing Mei Kinosaki. Kyoko Himekawa is voiced by Anna Nagase, known for playing Riko Amanai in JUJUTSU KAISEN. Asaki Yuikawa, who previously appeared as Niina Shimazaki in Blue Box, will voice Shiori Ureshino.

Hinano Shirahama will voice Kimie Arashiyama. Hinano’s past role includes Sara Haizaki in HOTEL INHUMANS. Shizuku Ushio is voiced by Mariya Ise, recognised for her work as Killua Zoldyck in Hunter x Hunter.

Soma Saito, who played William James Moriarty in Moriarty the Patriot, will voice Genya Naruko. Simba Tsuchiya will voice Pilchi Nakagawa, previously having voiced Tsutomu Goshiki in Haikyu!!.

Motonobu Hori, who previously directed Metallic Rouge, is helming the anime at Studio Bones Film. Kimiko Ueno of ZENSHU handles series composition, while Kohei Tokuoka handles character designs and serves as chief animation director. Taisei Iwasaki of BELLE and yuma yamaguchi are composing the music for the series. You can learn more about the upcoming MarriageToxin anime on the official website.

The MarriageToxin manga by Joumyaku and Mizuki Yoda began serialisation in April 2022 on Shonen Jump+. Fifteen volumes are currently available in Japan, and Volume 16 will release on January 5th, 2026. VIZ Media publishes the English-language edition of the manga.
