It’s going to be a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Literally! Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise will get a limited screening in movie theatres across North America. It will screen in the United States and Canada for a day only.
Crunchyroll is bringing Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise for a one-day-only screening on January 19th, 2026. It’s part of the Crunchyroll Anime Nights program. The screening will be presented in an English dub, while the musical performances will remain in Japanese with subtitles.
Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise premiered in Japanese theatres on October 24th, 2025. The anime ranked at number 8 during its opening weekend. The comedy horror film is produced by MAPPA and distributed in Japan by Toei Company.
Meanwhile, for international audiences, the film will be produced by Sony Pictures Releasing International and Crunchyroll. Tickets for the event are already available on this site. Also, accompanying the announcement is a fresh English trailer by Crunchyroll. Watch it right here!

Takafumi Ushida and Takeru Satō jointly directed the film, with Kōnosuke Uda serving as chief director at studio MAPPA. Shigeru Murakoshi wrote the screenplay. Character designs were by Fumihide Sai, Jinshichi Yamaguchi and Kasumi Fukagawa, while Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music.
The voice cast includes Mamoru Miyano, Kaede Hondo, Asami Tano, Risa Taneda, Maki Kawase, Rika Kinugawa, Minami Tanaka and Kotono Mitsuishi. All of the actors reprise their respective roles from the television series.
So, the movie follows the original Zombie Land Saga TV anime, which was produced by MAPPA, Avex Pictures and Cygames. The first season aired in Japan between October and December 2018. Then, the second season titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge aired from April to June 2021.
