The Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack is the latest release from Koei Tecmo and Gust. As announced earlier this year, they’ve bundled together all three Atelier Ryza RPGs into one collection. It’s now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.

Let’s rewind

The Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy consists of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX.

Each game has been slightly adjusted to make the trilogy flow better when played in sequence. The first game is a small, heartfelt story of friendship and discovery. The sequel continues her journey with more mature themes and familiar anime-style storytelling. The third connects it all together with higher stakes and an emotional farewell.

And what’s new in the Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack?

There are new playable characters, expanded story elements, and quality of life upgrades. Every piece of previously released DLC is also included. Atelier Ryza 3 comes with a new Wind Beast mount.

But the most notable addition is the Custom Combat mode. It lets you choose which monsters to fight and even adjust enemy levels.

Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, which first dropped in 2019, adds new playable characters like Agatha, Kilo, and Romy. There are additional side events, including Kilo and Bos’s encounter in the Underworld.

Next, Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, first released in 2021, picks up three years later from the first one. The DX version brings Empel and Lila as playable characters. It includes a new episode that shows them meeting Ryza in the capital city to aid her search through new ruins and maps.

Lastly, Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, originally launched in 2023. It takes place one year after the second game. It follows Ryza’s final summer adventure as she and her friends try to save their island and unravel the secret of the Code of the Universe.

The DX version adds new playable characters like Clifford, Serri, and Kilo. You get a fresh side story about Clifford and Serri reuniting after their separation. There’s also a new event exploring the connection between Kilo and Bos and a new island to explore filled with mysterious ruins.
