BLEACH Mirrors High has dropped a new trailer just before its closed beta goes live. The devs have also given a new update to players, which is all about expanding its original cast. The trailer shows off some fresh gameplay footage, while three new Soul Reapers have joined the game’s lineup.
Created by BLEACH creator Tite Kubo, the newly revealed characters are:
- Naru Jurinna, voiced by Fūka Izumi
- Giro Hando, voiced by Shōgo Batori
- Maiko Tokishima, voiced by Yū Sasahara
Alongside revealing their character designs, the update also included comments from the voice actors and a new promotional visual. The announcement follows the game’s initial reveal earlier this month, when two original characters designed by Kubo were introduced for the first time.

Meanwhile, the trailer also gives a closer look at how BLEACH Mirrors High actually plays. Battles revolve around fast-paced real-time action where you build a squad of three Soul Reapers and switch between them during combat.
Action Cards provide different abilities, Mortal Blows deliver cinematic finishing attacks, and Soul Drive combination attacks let teammates unleash stronger moves together. The video also highlights card-based battles, avatar customisation, and the ability to customize both the appearance and fighting style of your Zanpakutō.

As for the story, it takes place after the Thousand-Year Blood War arc and follows an entirely original protagonist named Shirin Migishima. Yes, you aren’t in control of Ichigo Kurosaki this time. After awakening in Karakura Town following the war, Shirin becomes part of a new storyline alongside another original character, Shirane Sanari.
Bandai Namco describes BLEACH Mirrors High as an immersive 13 Court Guard Squads Action game. It will drop on iOS through the App Store and Android through Google Play as a free-to-play game. It does not have an official release date yet.
