How To Make Good Rogue Piece Builds

First, you need to decide whether you want to focus on Combat (Spec), Weapons, or Hybrid. This will tailor the outcome of your ideal build and what you should focus on to achieve it.

Base DPS: Some Combats and Weapons have a naturally high DPS, often depicted by their rarity.

For Combats, I recommend Shadow or Garou.

For Weapons, I recommend Yuta’s Katana or Abyssbreaker.

Combat Builds

  • Titles: Match Title and Combat to gain a buff. Titles drop after killing a boss 10 times. (Cid has no corresponding Title)
  • Traits: The Honoured One and Ancient Spirit are both ideal. Increasing Defence and DMG by a considerable amount, and lowering Cooldowns between skills.
  • Races: Demon (+25% Power DMG)
  • Haki: Haki provides a flat DMG buff when equipped. (Activate Haki to train it and level your Haki up). Obtained from Glacier Isle for 200,000 $
  • Accessories: Shadow Cloak (x2.25 Power DMG)
  • Relics: Time Sharpness (Reduces Cooldown by 25%), or Soul Spirit (+25% Power DMG)
  • General Stats: Aim to reroll for an A or higher on your Stats to maximise your build. The highest possible roll is S, though a reroll is RNG-based, so this may be difficult to achieve on all slots.
  • Ranks: Invest in ranking up at Rogue Town to gain permanent buffs that enhance your build.

Sword Builds

  • Titles: Match Title and Sword to gain a buff. Titles drop after killing a boss 10 times.
    • I recommend Cursed Child (Yuta’s Title), which buffs Yuta’s Katana by 20%.
  • Traits: The Honoured One and Ancient Spirit are both ideal. Increasing Defence and DMG by a considerable amount, and lowering Cooldowns between skills.
  • Races: Arrancar (+25% Sword DMG)
  • Haki: Haki provides a flat DMG buff when equipped. (Activate Haki to train it and level your Haki up). Obtained from Glacier Isle for 200,000 $
  • Accessories: Yuta’s Outfit (x2.25 Sword DMG)
  • Relics: Time Sharpness (Reduces Cooldown by 25%), or Broken Edge (+25% Sword DMG)
  • Blacksmith: Refine your sword to gain Higher DMG or Lower Cooldown, depending on what kind of build you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are Hybrid Builds?

A: Hybrid builds balance combat and sword, giving players the best of both worlds. However, because each build category fits together so differently, it’s hard to create a stable Hybrid build that actually works. Overall, I don’t recommend Hybrids.

Q: How do I refine my Build based on this guide?

A: Each category includes my recommended pick for that category. However, those left blank are up to interpretation. This means you get to choose if you want a power build, a low cooldown build, or a balanced build for your Combat/Sword.
