We have new production updates on the upcoming television anime adaptation of Romelia War Chronicle. It’s a fantasy adventure series that will air in 2026. The official website and social media accounts have confirmed the principal cast and core creative team.

Yuno Nemoto has been cast as the protagonist Romelia Von Graham. Joining her is Jin Ogasawara as well, playing Al. Then, we’ll have Tomohiro Ono voicing Ray.
The production staff includes Director Hiroshi Shirai and Assistant Director Takahiro Hirata. Aya Satsuki is handling series composition and scripts. Character designs are by Yoshiko Saito and Yuta Otaka. Kohta Yamamoto will compose the music under the production by PONY CANYON. Atra will handle the overall animation production.

The anime adapts Romelia War Chronicle: The Count’s Daughter Rallies an Army in the Wake of Mankind’s Victory
It’s originally a Japanese light novel series by Ryō Ariyama. The first volume featured illustrations by Kodama, with Ryō Kamito taking over the illustration from the second volume onward. The story began serialisation online in August 2019.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Kamito has been serialised on Manga Doa since April 2021. It has had five tankōbon volumes so far by Mag Garden. An official English version of Kamito’s manga adaptation is published by Seven Seas Entertainment.
The story follows Romelia, a count’s daughter whose life takes a sharp turn after she and her fiancé defeat the Demon King. Romelia is cast aside once Prince Henri annuls their engagement, leaving her isolated while he returns home hailed as a hero.
Yet her time travelling with adventurers reshapes her in unexpected ways. She develops expertise in trade, negotiation, finance, and intelligence gathering. These abilities become the foundation of her next campaign.
