Step into Sea 2 with an action plan following my Sailor Piece Sea 2 Tier List. Here, I’ll rank each new Weapon and Melee added to Sea 2, including a small synopsis of their performance for your convenience, so you don’t waste time or materials grinding for anything lacklustre.
That is, of course, unless you want to collect them all, in which case, this tier should help you decide which to main!
Anyway, yapping aside, let’s get into what you’re here for.
Sailor Piece Sea 2 Tier List
This tier is up to date as of April 23rd, 2026.
S-TIER
- Dragon Goddess (Weapon)
- The best raw damage weapon in the entire game currently. Obsurd, serious damage paired with low cooldowns and excellent PvP and PvE versatility make this my absolute top-tier choice for Sea 2.
- Cosmic Being (Melee)
- Very strong overall, with all skills bringing something to the table. Incredible kit for those who prefer Melee and want to focus solely on damage builds.
A-TIER
- The World (Melee)
- Ideal for AFK-gridning due to the V-Move having excellent range, cooldown, and damage. The F-Move is also incredibly strong, giving this Melee versatility as a main combat choice, or intentional if you need certain materials that drop from NPC clusters.
B-TIER
- Great Mage (Weapon)
- Extremely quick moves make this weapon good for efficient clearings of enemies. The damage isn’t as crazy as the top tier, but it’s still quite high. And, with low cooldowns, it’s the ideal weapon for skill-spamming enemies.
C-TIER
- There are no C-Tier Melees or Weapons currently.
D-TIER
- There are no D-Tier Melees or Weapons. This shouldn’t shock you all too much.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I unlock Sea 2?
- Visit World Island in Sea 1 and pick up the questline from the NPC in front of the tree portal. You need to complete two quests to gain permanent access, find two Ancient Fragments, and gather seven Map Pieces.

- What does each Tier mean?
- S: After entering Sea 2, I highly recommend prioritising unlocking these combats, as they’re the most battle-potent, and help you survive the new treacherous waters with their versatile PvP and PvE skillset.
- A: Ideal secondary options to learn if you have a skill gap preventing you from attaining my top-tier suggestions. Those here are still formidable, and you shouldn’t sleep on them!
- B: Resting in the middle tier, I could take or leave these combats. They’re obviously a powerful choice, but have some skill gaps that hold them back from higher tiers. For example, I wouldn’t recommend these for solo fights against sea beasts, but they’re strong enough for the Sea 2 islands and bosses.
- C: In capable hands, these are decent combats, but they’re far from my first choice, with a slight creeping meta residing with those in the higher tiers.
- D: These combats are obviously better than anything you’d find in Sea 1, but not by much. I don’t really recommend investing the grind time to get these, unless you’re after collecting them all.
- Why is Frieren on this list?
- Even though the Great Mage (Frieren) Weapon is attained in Sea 1 from Easter Island, this Weapon was added alongside Sea 2, so it’s at least a little comparable to the newest powerscaling expectations.
