Seems like this company isn’t good at ‘managing’ games. I’m talking about HYBE, the company behind global K-pop sensation BTS. Now, their first title, Astra: Knights of Veda, has already announced EOS.

The EOS of Astra: Knights of Veda is happening after a two-year run. The service will officially end on June 26th, 2026. The game struggled to live up to the expectations of its audience despite consistent player support and feedback.

So, here’s the EOS schedule for Astra: Knights of Veda

Service will end on June 26th, 2026, at 03:00 AM UTC. From that point onward, you won’t be able to download the game. Operations for the official website, along with related community platforms, will also cease.

But leading up to that date, all in-game events will be available for everyone. So, you can revisit content before the game goes offline.

In-app purchases will be terminated on April 23rd, 2026. Application for refunds runs from June 26th, 2026, to September 28th, 2026. Only unused paid currency (Rubies) will qualify for refunds.

Astra was developed by Flint, the developers of Dragon Blaze. It lets you fight solo or with a team of up to four knights. You get to test your fighting skills against others in real-time player vs. player battles. The game is available on Steam for PC, App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android.

How are people reacting to it?

Well, honestly, this wasn’t a surprise. Despite its striking art direction, Astra failed to keep players coming back to play. According to some players, progression often depended on acquiring duplicate characters, along with signature weapons, duplicates of those weapons, and so on. Hence, they were time-consuming and overly demanding.

All in all, repeated missteps prevented the game from becoming a successful RPG. We have an exciting game which you can try out, though. Read our scoop on Mahjong Soul’s collab with Sword Art Online across multiple platforms!
