With Sea 2 postponed until Saturday, you have a little time to catch up. No matter where you’re at currently, my Sailor Piece Sword Progression Guide will help you go from mid to meta in as few steps as necessary.

Sailor Piece Sword Progression Guide
Katana
First, buy the Katana from the Katana Seller at Starter Island for 2,500 Cash.
There isn’t much to say about this weapon other than that it’s typically the first major purchase any player makes.
As expected, given its rarity and price, the humble Katana isn’t very good long-term.
Dark Blade
Visit Snow Island and buy the Dark Blade from the corresponding seller (Mihawk NPC), costing 250,000 Cash and 250 Gems.
Theres a significant jump in price here, but if you’re early-game, you’ll need to migrate through the different islands anyway, which earns you the cash needed.
Dark Blade is a solid weapon that carries in the early game. It’s got a nice M1, Z, and X Skill that gives it enough versatility to help players into the mid-game.
Saber
The Saber sword will be your first challenging blade, posing two attainment methods:
- Boss Exchange for 65x Boss Tickets
- 2% drop from the Saber Boss (Boss Island)
Obtaining this blade cements you into the mid-game. You’re on your way up!
Shadow Sword
For your first Mythic Sword, I recommend taking on the Dungeons and earning the materials needed for the Shadow Sword.
The Shadow Sword is a requirement for one of my end-game sword suggestions, but it’s also a very formidable blade with insane skills and an affinity for damage.

- 8x Void Seeds
- 20x Umbral Capsule
- Shadowborn Race
Atomic
After Shadow, I recommend spending some time levelling up and investing your stats into your Sword (and HP) primarily before plunging into the end-game swords. During this time, you’ll also want to further refine your build with Accessories, Runes, Titles, Clans, etc.
When you’re ready, start working towards unlocking the Atomic Sword from the trainer at Lawless Island.

- Shadow (Sword)
- 1x Atomic Omen
- 3x Eminence Essence
- 9x Shadow Remnant
- 16x Magic Shard
- 80x Abyss Sigil
Ice Queen
You could stop at Atomic, or go the extra mile to attain the Ice Queen blade, which will be especially powerful heading into Sea 2.
The Ice Queen Trainer resides at Boss Island, where you also spawn the corresponding boss.

- 4x Frozen Brand
- 9x Glacier Remnant
- 17x Battle Shard
- 25x Frost Relic
